“While I am standing here in the lab, thanks to the World Health Organization, for delivering ten thousand litres of fuel, and for providing us with one hundred and fifty units of blood, and some other supplies, and some food for Kamal Adwan’s Hospital. Thank you for providing us with the supplies, and also thank you for supporting the deployment of the Indonesian emergency medicalteam, they will stay at Kamal Adwan Hospital for two weeks, and they will help us with providing the necessary and important health services in northern Gaza. Again, thank you for this good achievement, and we hope by God’s will that you keep providing, and supplying us with medical supplies in order for us to keep providing proper medical services to our people in northern Gaza.”

“A mission from WHO, the mission is coming with food for more than 400 people, medical staff, patients and anyone else who needs, food in these days. We also, we came with, 10,000l of fuel for the generators to keep this hospital operational. Also, we are coming with an ambulance because we are trying to make the evacuation of two critical patients coming back to Shifa (Medical Complex) and also an Indonesian team, a specialized medical team that will take care of the of the most critical patients in the hospital.”

“Seven of our team stay in Kamal Adwan hospital; two general surgeons, one OBGYN, 2 nurses and two non-medical volunteers. And we will be there and help our Palestinian brothers and sisters. And we are really thankful to UN, to WHO, who help us in this convoy and to deal with the Israelis to make this happen.”

Storyline
On 1 December, WHO successfully reached Kamal Adwan Hospital, delivering 10,000 litres of fuel, blood supplies, essential medical items, and food. Additionally, an emergency medical team was deployed after several denials in the past month.
