The UN Human Rights Council reported that 15 children died of starvation at the hospital, and that fears were growing that the numbers were even higher at other hospitals. 

Shooting and violent explosions continued in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital, as occupation forces blew up the specialized building, containing a the largest stock of medicines in Gaza.

The occupation forces also continued to detain displaced people, patients, and medical staff.

The occupation forces stormed the specialized surgery building, and the reception department of the hospital.

The Gaza Media Office in Gaza stated that it received information about the execution by the occupation army of a number of children, civilians, patients and displaced persons inside of the hospital.

UNOHA reported that Israeli forces launched an operation in the area of Al-Shifa Hospital and distributed leaflets ordering displaced people to evacuate to the southern Gaza Strip before besieging and raiding the hospital.

 Local media reported that occupation forces targeted the area with naval, aerial, and artillery shelling and heavy sniper and quadcopter fire. Tanks also advanced towards the compound and blocked the main gate to the hospital.

31 premature babies were evacuated to the Emirates Crescent Hospital following the targeting of al-Shifa Hospital, arranged and coordinated by the UN Mission and the World Health Organization (WHO), and then transferred to Egypt.

Occupation snipers shot and martyred a hospital worker inside Al-Awda Hospital. There were reports of a state of terror and torture experienced by patients and medical staff trapped inside the hospital.
