The platform "Documenting the Targeting and Destruction of the Health Sector in the Gaza Strip" presents accurate and detailed information about the Israeli assault on health during the genocidal war. This includes data on the attacks on healthcare facilities and health workers who have been killed, abducted, tortured, and maimed by Israeli forces during the genocide, and relevant statements by international organizations and healthcare institutions. These are complemented by original analysis by researchers and authors covering a range of issues in the targeting of the health sector, through which Israeli occupation forces have created a "war biosphere". Martyred due to injuries sustained during the Kamal Adwan siege
Martyr Hassan al-Dabous had sustained injuries in an explosion of a boobytrapped robot during the occupation forces' siege on Kamal Adwan Hospital at the end of December 2024. He was martyred due to these injuries on January 1, 2025.
Martyred due to the cold
The body of Hakeem Ahmed al-Zaharna was found in his tent in al-Mawasi area in Khan Yunis. The same week, there were severeal reports of children being martyred due to the extreme cold and difficult conditions imposed by occupation forces.
Release of Dr. Mahmoud Abu Shehada
Occupation forces released Dr. Mahmoud Abu Shehada after 11 months of detention without presenting him with any charges.
Martyred as a result of sharpnel injuries sustained in Jabaliya
A statement by Médecins Sans Frontières, for whom Nasser worked, included the following:
Dr. Muneer Alboursh, the Director General of the Palestinian Ministry of Health, mourned him by writing: "The martyrdom of our colleague, the senior nurse Mohammed Marzouq Salman “Abu Tamer,” as a result of the ongoing aggression on northern Gaza. Senior nurse Mohammed Marzouq worked at the Indonesian Hospital, where he carried out his medical duties with dedication and sincerity. May Allah have mercy on him and accept him among the martyrs."
