Al Hayat Specialized Hospital, located on Lababidi Street in Gaza City, is a private hospital that first opened in 2010 with a capacity of 72 beds. Al Hayat treats cancer patients referred to the hospital by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, that before the Covid-19 outbreak would have been treated at the Augusta Victoria Hospital in East Jerusalem. The hospital consists of six floors, each with an area of 1,000 square meters[1][2].

In 2015: An in-house laboratory and a new operation room in the cardiac catheterization department were inaugurated at Al Hayat Specialized Hospital[5].
In 2020: The hospital opened a magnetic resonance department and began offering chemotherapy to cancer patients[6].
