Geneva - In new testimonies documented by Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor, female Palestinian detainees from the Gaza Strip report being subjected to sexual violence, torture, inhuman treatment, strip searches, sexual harassment, and rape threats while being arrested and held by Israeli army forces.

Geneva - As Israel continues its genocide in the Gaza Strip, ongoing since 7 October 2023, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has documented the Israeli army’s sadistic abuse and torture of Palestinians there. This includes purposefully causing severe physical and psychological harm, which will undoubtedly have long-term effects, after storming their homes and shelter centres or attacking them on forced evacuation routes and so-called “safe corridors”.

Geneva - Israeli army forces opened fire at thousands of Palestinian civilians awaiting aid supplies west and south of Gaza City, killing at least 100 of them and wounding 600 others, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said in a statement issued Thursday.

Despite the ruling of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) requiring Israel to take action to stop the crime of genocide against the Palestinian people, Israel has refused to deescalate its military attack on the Gaza Strip.

Geneva - Initial investigations by Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor confirm that Israeli army gunfire killed and wounded dozens of starving Palestinian civilians who were attempting to receive humanitarian aid in western Gaza at dawn on Thursday. The Israeli army is striving to disassociate itself from the atrocity, Euro-Med Monitor said, by releasing a shattered aerial video clip and arguing that the large number of civilian deaths was caused by a stampede and trampling.

Geneva - Israel is deliberately deepening the catastrophic starvation crisis for all Gazans, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor stated, by depriving them of food and basic necessities. The rights group said that obstructing the entry and distribution of humanitarian supplies, especially in Gaza City and the northern Strip, demonstrates Israel’s aim of forcibly displacing the Palestinian people there.

Palestinian territory -  Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor confirmed that its initial investigations into the flour massacre at the “Nabulsi” roundabout southwest of Gaza City against Palestinian civilians who were attempting to receive humanitarian aid at dawn on Thursday confirm Israel’s full involvement in the crime, calling for an effective international investigation to hold Israeli officials accountable.

Geneva – "Do not let my family die in vain," said Euro-Med Monitor’s advocacy officer, Ahmed al-Naouq, in an oral statement at the United Nations Human Rights Council’s 55th session on Monday. Al-Naouq, who lost 21 members of his family in an Israeli airstrike on his family’s home in Gaza, called on the Council and its member states to hold the perpetrators accountable for the tragedy, which serves as “a microcosm of the horror inflicted upon the imprisoned population of Gaza.”

Palestinian territory- The Israeli army’s repeated killings of Palestinian civilians by deliberately running them over alive with military vehicles was vehemently denounced by Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor on Sunday, as was the widespread destruction of civilian property. These crimes are part of Israel’s genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the rights group said, ongoing since 7 October 2023.

Geneva - Palestinian prisoners and detainees from the Gaza Strip who are being held by the Israeli army are being subjected to premeditated murder and arbitrary execution outside the purview of the law and the judiciary, Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said in a statement issued Saturday.
