This database provides details on all health facilities affiliated to the public sector and the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, in addition to some key health facilities run by the private and non-governmental sectors. This includes all hospitals and primary healthcare centers in the Gaza Strip as they provide the mainstay of healthcare services. Primary healthcare centers are categorized according to the conventional four levels. The database provides a historical overview for each facility, starting with its establishment, running through the blockade since 2007 until the genocide war, in addition to its operational details, capacity, specialties, and staff. The main content in the database is a detailed chronology for each facility during the war. We have gathered available data from secondary sources from February 2024 until the latest (and not final) update in August 2024, and continue to update the chronology as events unfold and new information is revealed.
