About the Platform

The platform "Documenting the Targeting and Destruction of the Health Sector in the Gaza Strip" presents accurate and detailed information about the Israeli assault on health during the genocidal war. This includes data on the attacks on healthcare facilities and health workers who have been killed, abducted, tortured, and maimed by Israeli forces during the genocide, and relevant statements by international organizations and healthcare institutions. These are complemented by original analysis by researchers and authors covering a range of issues in the targeting of the health sector, through which Israeli occupation forces have created a "war biosphere". Read more

Naser's martyrdom

She was martyred after the occupation targeted her home in al-Maghazi camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip, alongside a large number of her family members.

al-Wadia's martyrdom

He was martyred on his way to work at the Doctors Without Borders clinic in the center of the Gaza Strip as a result of his bicycle being directly targeted by an air strike. Five other martyrs rose as a result of the same raid, including children.

Kashkou's martyrdom

Dr. Ibrahim Kashkou was martyred while at work as a result of the occupation’s targeting of the Patient’s Friends Association in Gaza City, north of the Strip.

Specialist physiotherapist Odeh al-Hou was martyred in an aisrtrike targeting Jabalia Camp where he and his family were steadfast. He was filling up water for the camp residents when the strike happened.

First responder Suheil Hassouneh was martyred alongside his colleague Haytham Toubasi while they conducted their humanitarian work, in an occupation airstrike on a Palestine Red Crescent Society ambulance vehicle in Tell al-Sultan neighborhood in Rafah City.

First responder Haytham Toubasi was martyred alongside his colleague Suheil Hassouneh as they performed their humanitarian duties, in a strike on a Palestine Red Crescent Society ambulance vehicle in Tell al-Sultan neighborhood in the city of Rafah.

Hamdan's martyrdom

Dr. Hassan Hamdan was martyred, along with twelve members of his family, following a direct attack on his home in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
