The platform Documenting the Targeting and Destruction of the Health Sector in the Gaza Strip presents accurate and detailed information about the Israeli assault on healthcare facilities as well as medical personnel and workers in the health sector, who have been killed, abducted, tortured, and maimed by Israeli forces during the genocide. These acts are part of Israel's plan to dispossess Palestinians from Gaza by making the Gaza Strip uninhabitable.
The platform also offers analyses by researchers and authors covering a range of issues in the targeting of the health sector, along with relevant statements by international organizations and healthcare institutions. The importance of this platform lies in documenting and providing comprehensive information on the most horrific assault on health in the history of the Palestinian struggle. This archival record serves as a valuable resource for researchers and historians across various fields. In its first stage, the project relies on secondary sources, which will be complemented and completed through field research. All sections presented are, therefore, considered to be part of a work-in-progress.
