Professor Nasser Abu al-Nour was dean of the faculty of nursing in the Islamic University. He held a Doctorate from the University of Akron, in Ohio, United States.
Professor Nasser Abu Al-Nour is considered one of the pillars of academic public health and nursing. He and martyr Professor Sufian Tayeh were among the best published authors internationally in 2022. Professor Tayeh, head of the Islamic University, was also martyred during the genocide.
