The martyrdom of Dr. Adnan Al-Bursh as a result of torture in the occupation prisons
Al-Bursh was killed while imprisoned at the Ofer Prison on April 19, 2024. He was subjected to severe torture and his body remains held by Israel.

Occupation forces arrested Nahed Abu Ta'mieh alongside several other health workers in a raid in Nasser Medical Complex.
Dr. Ahmad al-Kahlout's arrest
After storming Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, occupation forces arrested Dr. Ahmad al-Kahlout and took him to an unknown location, alongside 70 other health workers.
Martyed with his wife
Dr. Akram Abu Hasira and his wife were martyred after they were executed with live ammunition on Yarmouk street and left to bleed to death after their home was completely burned.
She was martyred along with her family members.
Dr. Baraa Abu Al-Aish was martyred along with her family members in a massacre carried out by the occupation forces targeting the Abu Al-Aish family in Jabalia, northern Gaza Strip. More than thirteen individuals lost their lives in the attack on their home.

Dr. Hani al-Haytham was martyred alongside his wife Dr. Samira al-Ghafari and their children Shireen, Tia, Sameer, Wafaa and Sara, as a result of an Israeli airstrike on a residential building. Dr. Haytham had managed to escape al-Shifa hospital without being abducted, only to be targeted in his home with his family.
Closure of Al-Awda Hospital by occupation forces
The occupation forces closed the hospital and took it out of service completely after a four-day siege.
