The platform "Documenting the Targeting and Destruction of the Health Sector in the Gaza Strip" presents accurate and detailed information about the Israeli assault on health during the genocidal war. This includes data on the attacks on healthcare facilities and health workers who have been killed, abducted, tortured, and maimed by Israeli forces during the genocide, and relevant statements by international organizations and healthcare institutions. These are complemented by original analysis by researchers and authors covering a range of issues in the targeting of the health sector, through which Israeli occupation forces have created a "war biosphere". Read more

He was killed by settlers in an attack on al-Sawiya village south of Nablus as he tried to evacuate the injured. Soldiers also opened fire on an ambulance vehicle during their attack on villagers' homes, killing the driver Mohammed Mousa and injuring a first responder.

Martyred on his way to work as a result of a live bullet that struck his back, causing severe bleeding, during a raid by occupation forces in Jenin camp in the morning of May 21, 2024.

Casualty numbers have been provided by the Ministry of Health (MoH) or the Government Media Office (GMO) in Gaza and the Israeli authorities. Previous data breakdowns provided in this snapshot of women and children killed were attributed to the GMO based on reported fatalities. The fatality breakdowns currently cited are those that the MoH in Gaza has recently fully identified out of the higher number of casualties they report.
