Dr. Mohammed Adwan was the first to introduce endoscopy to the Gaza Strip. He worked for over 40 years in medicine and was working until the last day of his life. He was a father to two martyrs and was a heart disease patient.

Sniper bullet to the head

Dr. Mohammed suffered from a chronic heart disease but was forced to evacuate on foot towards the south. He was martyred as a result of a sniper bullet to his head by an occupation soldier. His children carried his body on foot along the painful path for over 20 kilometers to the south of the Strip.
