اعتقلت قوات الاحتلال الطبيب إياد الرنتيسي من حاجز نتساريم بعد أن أمره جيش الاحتلال بإخلاء مستشفى كمال عدوان في شمال القطاع والتوجه جنوباً.

أعلنت صحيفة هآرتس العبرية أن الطبيب إياد الرنتيسي استشهد في أحد مراكز التحقيق في مدينة عسقلان، عقب أسبوع من اعتقاله فقط، حيث جاء الإعلان يوم 18 يونيو/حزيران 2024، بعد حوالي 7 أشهر من استشهاده.
