60 wounded people in the Indonesian Hospital in northern Gaza Strip are at risk of death due to lack of food and water.

The humanitarian situation inside the hospital has become extremely dangerous, as the wounded lack basic needs, which increases their suffering under the difficult conditions imposed by the occupation forces.

*💫 Announcing the martyrdom of Dr. Saeed Joda, while heading from Kamal Adwan Hospital to Al-Awda Hospital to treat some cases in the hospital, where he was targeted a short while ago by the occupation aircraft (Cadre Copter) and shot directly at him, so he was martyred, bringing the number of martyrs in the health sector to 1057 martyrs.

There is currently intense and heavy bombing of the hospital, occurring in an unprecedented manner and without any prior warning to the care and nursery department.

The bombing is being conducted with explosives and tank fire, directly targeting us while we are present inside the hospital departments.

The Israeli occupation is intensifying its targeting of the health system in the northern Gaza Strip, by besieging and directly targeting the Indonesian Hospital, Kamal Adwan Hospital, and Al-Awda Hospital during the past hours and insisting on putting them out of service.

تعاني مستشفى كمال عدوان من حصار خانق، حيث تم إحراق أقسام العمليات والجراحة والمختبر والصيانة ووحدات الإسعاف والمخازن بالكامل، وقد بدأ الحريق ينتشر الآن إلى جميع المباني.

يعمل جيش الاحتلال على نقل المرضى والمصابين بشكل إجباري وتحت تهديد السلاح وفوهات البنادق إلى المستشفى الإندونيسي، الذي يفتقر إلى المستلزمات الطبية والمياه والأدوية، وحتى الكهرباء والمولدات.

هناك مرضى مهددون بالموت في أي لحظة نتيجة الظروف القاسية.

This is part of broader efforts to erase Palestinian history and identity.

The bill is due to come into effect in just under 4 weeks.

Dear colleagues, ladies and gentlemen,

In just two weeks, two laws aimed at ending UNRWA’s operations in the occupied Palestinian territory will enter into force.

Full implementation of the laws will ban UNRWA from operating in the “sovereign territory of Israel” and ban contact between Israeli authorities and the Agency.

This morning, I briefed the Security Council in a closed session.

I welcomed the ceasefire and hostage deal in Gaza.

I joined the Secretary-General in calling on all parties to ensure the deal is fully implemented.

We need rapid, unhindered and uninterrupted humanitarian access to respond to the tremendous suffering in Gaza.

A ceasefire is only a starting point.

UNRWA is ready to support the international response by scaling up aid delivery.
