Gained first place in the Palestinian, Jordanian and Arab Board exams in nephrology. He was the only nephrologist in the Strip, working in al-Aqsa martyrs hospital and al-Shifa medical complex at the same time. In addition, he was a lecturer in the medical schools of both al-Azhar University and the Islamic University in the Gaza Strip.
