Dozens feared dead in Israeli airstrike on UNRWA school in Gaza

"UNRWA can confirm that one of our schools in the Nuseirat area [in central Gaza] was hit overnight/early morning by Israeli Forces. ⁠The school was possibly hit several times,” the UN agency for Palestinian refugees told UN News. “The number of those reported killed is between 35 and 45. Scores others are injured. We are not able to confirm the above figure at this stage.”

UN General Assembly presses Security Council to give ‘favourable consideration’ to full Palestinian membership

The UN General Assembly convened again in New York on Friday for an emergency special session on the Gaza crisis and overwhelmingly passed a resolution which upgrades Palestine’s rights at the world body as an Observer State, without offering full membership. It urged the Security Council to give “favourable consideration” to Palestine’s request.

Occupation forces withdraw from Kamal Adwan Hospital

Occupation forces withdrew from the hospital after four days of siege. According to initial reports and video footage published by the media, an Israeli military bulldozer flattened the tents of a number of displaced people outside the hospital, killing and injuring an unconfirmed number of people, and 90 people were detained by the occupation army.

محمد أبو سلمية يُعرف أيضًا بكنية "أبو خالد"، هو طبيب فلسطيني متخصص في طب الأطفال، ولد في مخيم الشاطئ للاجئين غرب مدينة غزة، بتاريخ 18 أكتوبر 1973م. تولى منصب المدير الطبي لمستشفى النصر عام 2007، ثم تولى إدارة مستشفى الرنتيسي عام 2015م، وتولى منصب مدير مستشفى الشفاء عام 2019م، حتى اعتقاله بتاريخ 23 نوفمبر 2023م.
