About the Platform
The platform "Documenting the Targeting and Destruction of the Health Sector in the Gaza Strip" presents accurate and detailed information about the Israeli assault on health during the genocidal war. This includes data on the attacks on healthcare facilities and health workers who have been killed, abducted, tortured, and maimed by Israeli forces during the genocide, and relevant statements by international organizations and healthcare institutions. These are complemented by original analysis by researchers and authors covering a range of issues in the targeting of the health sector, through which Israeli occupation forces have created a "war biosphere". Hospital goes out of service
The Ministry of Health evacuated the Muhammad al-Durrah Hospital after it was hit with white phosphorus bombs, later declaring it out of service as a result of the attack.

صُنّف المستشفى من قبل وزارة الصحة الفلسطينية على أنه صديق معايير سلامة المريض من المستوى الأول، وكان المستشفى الأول في قطاع غزة الذي يحظى بهذا التصنيف. وقد تعاون المستشفى في حينها مع منظمة الصحةالعالمية على معايير سلامة المرضى.
افتتاح قسم العناية الفائقة في المستشفى
في عام 2008، افتتحت وزارة الصحة قسم العناية الفائقة في المستشفى، بتبرع من جمعية مبرة غنايم الخيرية من دولة الكويت.
افتتاح أقسام تخصصية جديدة
في تموز/ يوليو 2023, افتتح المستشفى وحدتين تخصصيتين لعلاج مرضى القدم السكري والآلام المزمنة, هما الأوليان من نوعهما على مستوى قطاع غزة. و في الشهر ذاته استقبل المستشفى وفداً طبياً قطرياً لإجراء 50 عملية زراعة قوقعة جديدة، وتم توفير 22 جهاز قوقعة آخر بتمويل من وزارة الأوقاف والشؤون الإسلامية القطرية، وكذلك جرى تطوير كفاءة الطواقم العاملة من خلال تدريبات متخصصة.
