Occupation forces completely besieged the hospital. The hospital launched a relief operation to protect 38 patients inside the hospital's departments, in addition to 95 employees.

The Ministry of Health announced that the Israeli air force directly targeted the office of the director of Al-Awda Hospital, Dr. Muhanna.

And on December 3, 2023 the hospital announced that its clinical capacity was halved as a result of the occupation shelling of buildings adjacent to the hospital, in addition to the martyrdom of three doctors and two paramedics who are directly targeted.

Al-Awda Hospital announced that several hours before the truce, occupation forces deliberately targeted its facilities in Jabalia.

The Ministry of Health announced that occupation attacks on Al-Awda Hospital caused dozens of martyrs and injuries among patients and medical staff. The hospital's reconstructive surgery building, and the third floor of the main building are shelled. One of the doctors who were killed had written on a board in the hospital before his martyrdom: "Whoever stays until the end will tell our story. We did everything we could. Remember us."

A number of medical staff at the hospital, in addition to a number of Palestinian Red Crescent Society paramedics, were injured during repeated bombings by occupation forces in the vicinity of the hospital, which also caused severe damage to the hospital and to several ambulances.

And on November 12, 2023 the occupation forces bombed the vicinity of the hospital.

Occupation forces bombed the hospital and a nearby ambulance, causing severe damage and shattering all the windows of the complex's administration building.
