Dr. Muneer Alboursh, the Director General of the Palestinian Ministry of Health, mourned him by writing: "The martyrdom of our colleague, the senior nurse Mohammed Marzouq Salman “Abu Tamer,” as a result of the ongoing aggression on northern Gaza. Senior nurse Mohammed Marzouq worked at the Indonesian Hospital, where he carried out his medical duties with dedication and sincerity. May Allah have mercy on him and accept him among the martyrs."
On the day of Dr. Ghanem's martyrdom, Dr. Muneer Alboursh, the Director General of the Palestinian Ministry of Health, wrote that "Dr. Mohammed Ghanem had endured the siege of Al-Shifa Hospital and was forcibly evacuated, continuing his medical duties at Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital, then Friends of the Patient Hospital, and finally at Kamal Adwan Hospital, where he joined the emergency department two weeks ago."
